Ricardo Santa-Rita, general manager of the Atlantic Hotel, Chelmsford, called Essex Radio to voice his concerns.
"We are very concerned that those big trucks, lorries, when they drive on those road, they present a risk to guests and staff -- I believe such a business should be located outside of town."
Ricardo went on to say that all the local businesses have to keep their windows shut. It is difficult to keep anything clean and if the rooms of the hotel open their windows, the room fills with dust.
